Debbane & Co. at the Aleppo Pistachio Festival Listening to the Farmer and a Partnership for the Future

Amidst the stones of the historic Souk al-Harir (Silk Market) in Aleppo, the Aleppo Pistachio Festival embraced farmers, agricultural engineers, and visitors in September 2026, who gathered around a tree whose name is tied to the name of their city. For us at Debbane & Co., the festival was not merely an event, but a warm gathering that brought us together with the guardians of this land and its farmers.

Aleppo Pistachio: An Identity Before Being a Crop We believe that the Aleppo pistachio is not just a strategic crop, but an identity and a heritage passed down through generations. This heritage deserves genuine care and scientific solutions that keep pace with the challenges of every season, preserving the quality and stature of this crop.

A Presence That Begins with Listening We were not there merely to display our products, but to listen. Our team stood in the heart of the market listening to every farmer and engineer, exchanging with them stories of the fields and their challenges—from fertilization and pest control to irrigation management, among other stories from the heart of the land. Every conversation with a farmer is an opportunity to understand their needs more deeply and develop solutions that meet them on the ground.

A New Step in an Ongoing Journey Our participation in the festival came as confirmation of a new step in our ongoing journey with the Syrian farmer, so that we always remain the supportive partner for everyone who plants and nurtures this blessed tree.

Debbane & Co. … Together for Better Agriculture and Stronger Production.
